LAFF FILMMAKERS GONE WILD!

By Chris Gore | June 14, 2003

The IFP Los Angeles held a filmmaker reception on the rooftop of the Wyndham Bel Age Hotel complete with loads of food and an open bar. Starving filmmakers feasted on chicken and booze as celebrity guest host John C. Reilly threw out some encouraging words to all those in attendance. Dawn Hudson, executive director of the IFP Los Angeles, stopped the party to give a speech telling everyone how excited she was about this year’s Los Angeles Film Festival. After stopping to listen for about a minute, the filmmakers went back to eating and drinking.
These pictures tell the story. Unfortunately, I don’t remember half the filmmakers names, but they know who they are. (Hey, feel free to drop me an e-mail and identify yourself in the interests of making this story as accurate as it can be. You know, under the circmstances.)
