KODAK SHOWS A LITTLE LEG AT NAB

By Film Threat Staff | April 5, 2004

Yep, it’s time for NAB (the National Association of Broadcasters convention) once again, April 17-22, in Vegas and Kodak is going to be there showcasing an array of dramatic breakthroughs in film and postproduction technologies.
The company is demonstrating:

the new Kodak Look Manager System and Kodak Display Manager System – The systems allow cinematographers to create, pre-visualize, communicate and manage film looks from preproduction all the way through postproduction in a calibrated environment.

the advanced KODAK VISION2 family of color negative films – Film is still the overwhelming choice for the majority of narrative content created for television. The exhibit provides convincing evidence that content produced in Super 16 mm format satisfies the highest expectations for current and future HD display.

the KODAK Telecine Calibration System (TCS) 1002-V – This system is designed to transfer highlights, shadows, contrast, and color as the cinematographer intended during original photography when the negative is scanned and converted to digital files in the telecine.
