KODAK INTRODUCES NEW CAMERA

By Film Threat Staff | June 27, 2002

The Kodak Digital Cinema system, which includes a flexible operating system and a high-quality projector, has been improved since its last demonstration at the ShoWest conference in the U.S. four months ago.
Projectionists will be pleased to know that the revamped Kodak Digital Cinema Operating System (COS) includes a mini-server and projector for each screen in a multiplex, as well as a main server to receive and distribute information. Connecting everything is a high-speed network linking all screens. With the COS, the cinema manager has an easy and intuitive way to move image data including pre-show ads, trailers, and digital movies. The new systems will be available in 2003.
