…and that name is “Red State.” While there’s no word on when shooting will commence, Smith told a London crowd at one of his stand-up…err…speaking gigs that the film would be about extremist church groups, particularly those wacky Baptists. According to Smith (via Cinematical), “The movie’s called ‘Red State’ and it’s very much about that subject matter, that point of view and that position taken to the absolute extreme.”
Hmm…is Kevin Smith really going to go outside the View Askewniverse again or can we expect Jay and Silent Bob as choir boys?
