Philadelphia police detective Pete Angel is haunted by memories of a murdered young girl he vowed to protect from the mean streets of Fishtown. After a botched investigation into a local prostitution ring leads him to go into hiding from the Irish mob, Pete forms an unlikely bond of faith, trust and love with a mysterious Russian prostitute whom he must also protect named Diamond Eyes.

“Diamond Eyes” is the second Independent Feature Film produced by Cruz Control Pictures in association with Chu-3-PO Productions, Sutton Impact Stuntclub and Vidgam Products Inc.

“Diamond Eyes” was shot entirely on location in Philadelphia, PA and Wildwood, NJ. The film features a talented cast of actors and actresses from the Philadelphia area including Jesus Sierra III, Kevin J. Clark, Ian Fitzgerald, Paul Burch, April Woodall and Rachel Holt (pictured left), who plays the lead character, Diamond Eyes.

“Diamond Eyes” is currently in the final stages of post-production. Irony of Zen, a Philly based experimental soul group, is composing the bulk of the music soundtrack with an additional score by Jesus Sierra III, Shaun Costello and Jose Cruz.. The movie will be premiered at the Community College of Philadelphia for the cast, family, friends and the curious sometime in the middle of May.
