By Admin | November 9, 2005

The CON-CAN Movie Festival aims at enabling people around the world to share and exchange the underlying messages of profound short film productions.

Contestants from around the world are encouraged to submit film productions of up to twenty minutes in length. Thirty productions will be carefully selected, subtitled in both English and Japanese, and streamed for public viewing. Votes from the international audience will be combined with the evaluation of the jury, and nominees that are to proceed to the final judgment by Internet conference will be selected.

The jury comprises globally acclaimed film producers and critics from around the world. Jury members are carefully selected from various genres to ensure fair judgment of the wide range of productions expected. The results of the audience voting and jury evaluation are to be made public via the website, and the Internet conference for the final round of selection will be shown to the public online. Being highly suitable for this age of broadband communications, this international film festival will have a global audience share the moment of selecting the Grand Prix Winner.
