INSIDE

By Daniel Bernardi | July 20, 2005

In today’s world we are surrounded by technology. I am using that same technology to write this very review. How much technology is too much? And are we losing our humanity to evolution.

This thought provoking short deals with that concept in the form of an office worker who becomes a casualty of the daily technology that surrounds him. Everything is mechanical all around him and technology has gone too far as he even has a chip in his head to control his human instincts.

Shot with a very fast pace, “Inside” takes us into a claustrophobic solitary confinement where no one can think and no one wants to think because something can do that for us. I felt imprisoned in this world that director Davis created only to realise that this prison may soon be a reality if it isn’t already.
