Kirk Hostetter’s and Evan Mather’s Icarus of Pittsburgh has finished 3rd in the 2003 Sundance Online Film Festival in the Short Subject category.
The ten-minute short film tells the story of Archie McNally, otherwise known as the “greatest Pittsburgh Steelers fan ever,” because of his daring exploits during the 1979 AFC Championship game when, using a suit of his own construction, he attempted to fly to heaven to visit his dead father.
