HEARTLAND FEST HONORS A PRINCESS

Heartland Film Festival will soon honor Disney’s upcoming film “The Princess Diaries,” directed by Garry Marshall and starring Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway, with ithe Fest’s prestigious Award of Excellence. “The Princess Diaries,” which opens nationwide on [ August 3rd, ] is the story of a young girl who faces her royal heritage and discovers honor and nobility come from family, not a tiara. Past recipients of the Festival’s award include “Remember the Titans,” “The Amati Girls,” “Sound and Fury,” “Finding Forrester” and “Lumumba.”
Heartland Film Festival will celebrate its 10th Anniversary at this year’s festival, which will be held from [ October 17th through the 26th ] in Indianapolis, Indiana. Heartland will also commemorate the granting of its one millionth dollar when it awards $100,000 to the visionaries of this year’s selected winning films.
