The nominations for the 2006 Golden Globes came out and they’re…well…pretty crazy. “Munich” was the official bastard stepchild of the awards noms with no best picture and nary a nom at all and “Brokeback Mountain” continues to gather more steam than a San Francisco bathhouse in the eighties. Pleasant surprises included a bevy of nods for “The Squid and the Whale” and “Match Point” but still…the list has no rhyme and even less reason.
