The Festival Must Go On! Annapolis Film Festival Continues Virtually

The Annapolis Film Festival, like many other festivals, had to shut down their public gatherings over the COVID-19 pandemic. The AFF decided to move their festival online and is happening now until Sunday midnight (March 26 to 29, 2020).

In partnership with FilmFestivalFlix.com, many of the festival’s feature films will stream at the same time slot as the original schedule, while other films will be available on-demand through the duration of the festival. Viewing is geographically restricted to the Maryland/DC area, and certain films limited to a 60-mile radius of Annapolis. The mission of the Annapolis Film Festival is to encourage and grant the development of all aspects of the creative arts in and around Annapolis through the cinema experience. With independent films, panels, and special showcases that inspire, enlighten, and entertain diverse audiences on a variety of topics, the festival ensures the promotion of Annapolis as a cultural arts center. It will also define the economic impact on the town as community engagement broadens.
