GOLDEN GLOBE NOMS ARE IN

By Film Threat Staff | December 14, 2006

The 64th Golden Globe nominations have been announced, and the major surprises are the films being overlooked, such as “The Good German,” Steven Soderbergh’s film set just after World War II, Robert De Niro’s “The Good Shepherd,” (Globes got something against the word “good”), Alfonso Cuaron’s “Children of Men” and Paul Greengrass’ “United 93.”

Other than those, every pretentious sounding, actor-piece worthy of derision or praise made the list… that also included “Borat.” Hmmmmm… wonder if anyone is going to come up with a lawsuit to stop “Borat” from getting any award, like perhaps the bear (who has been oddly silent since his/her decapitation in the film).
