GET KINKY IN THE BACKSEAT

By Film Threat Staff | January 9, 2003

This is not the kind of backseat action that will make a mess, or leave any funny smells in your car. Backseat Conceptions, promoters of fine underground entertainment, have come together to organize the Backseat Film Festival – two days of stimulating screenings, wild parties and general debauchery. The festival will take place in Park City during Sundance, January 20th and 24th at the PHAT TIRE SALOON, located in the heart of Main St.
For festival attendees that feel the Sundance scene is a little too stuffy for them, the Backseat Film Festival will be the place to go. Screening highlights include:
The Bikini Bandits Experience – Directed by Steven Grasse ^
Everybody’s favorite gun-toting, hot rod-driving, bikini-clad outlaws in their action-packed feature film debut!
Four Days In Panties – Directed by Nick Esposito ^ An obsessed Internet porno fan goes undercover as a woman to infiltrate a secret world of nude models and the breast cancer industrial complex. The first feature film starring the “alt-porn sensation” Suicide Girls!
Smoke Pot ‘til You F*****g Die – Directed by James Lynch & Ben Klein ^ Talking cats, sharply dressed inter-dimensional travelers, supernatural bureaucracies, and marijuana . . . together at last.
Captain Bill and the Rockin’ Buccaneers – Directed by Zafer Ulkucu ^ The true account of the unlikely beginnings and early exploits of history’s most notorious rock ‘n roll pirates.
Cheese Theatre: Welcome to Queens – Part I ^ The newest release by the first and only sketch comedy troupe from Queens, NY. Showcasing the strange characters, insane commercials and poetic violence that Cheese Theatre would be renown for if anyone knew who the f**k they were.
Low Budget Pictures Showcase ^ Ten years of the best in Horror/Comedy/Action/Sexy movies that can be made in one day for less than $10.
Kung Fu Films Showcase ^ Indie film company owned and operated by Joe Escalante, bassist for punk rock legends, The Vandals.
“Glory Hole” – by James Brown (We’re pretty sure it’s not THAT James Brown) ^ The WORLD PREMIERE of the first one-man show written entirely in public restrooms.
