GASLINE

By Chris Gore | April 13, 2002

A slice of life from the 1970s, specifically set during the gas crisis, this short follows the lives of those caught in pursuit of petroleum. As we get a closer look into the line of cars waiting for gas, secret dramas are revealed. We quickly discover the gas station manager is pumping more than petrol, he’s pumping one of his customers. Their affair is almost revealed when his son arrives during an awkward moment. But no worries, the son soon has an explosive experience in his quest to purchase some pot.
A clever and well-acted drama that offers a glimpse of great things to come for director Dave Silver.
