FREE FOR ALL AT OHIO FILM FESTIVAL

Free is almost always good, and the fine people of the Ohio Independent Film Festival, which will begin on [ November 5th ] and run until [ November 12th, 2000, ] keep this in mind when they serve up a few special, free seminars for attendees of the Cleveland event.
First on the list is a free lighting workshop on [ Sunday, November 5th ] from [ 10AM to 8PM ] at MDI Studios, 2044 Euclid Avenue. The workshop will be hosted and instructed by five locally-known Directors of Photography: Robert C. Banks Jr., Jerry Mann, Greg Petusky, Adam White and David Litz. Each will light a scene and shoot it on 16mm color film, and you will get to watch and learn.
Next up, on [ Wednesday, November 8th, ] a special free screening of “Conscience and the Constitution,” an Ohio premiere set to air on PBS, will be followed by a panel discussion headed by producer Frank Abe and the Japanese American Citizen’s League chairperson Ed Ezaki. A reception will close the evening, and the event takes place beginning at [ 6PM. ]
