We’ve got quite a few reviews still pending (we saw way more than we had time to write up so far), but here’s what to expect from our final 2008 SXSW Film Festival coverage. If you follow a link and the review doesn’t appear, don’t worry, it will within the next day or two. If it’s not listed at this point, we didn’t see it. But before we get there, I’d like to take this time to say thank you to all the Film Threat writers who covered the festival this year. We couldn’t have done any of this without you:

Merle Bertrand – Always a pleasure seeing you in Austin, and it was a blast talking Film Threat and SXSW with you and Nathan Zellner on your radio program.

Chris Gore – I’m sorry, were you at this festival? Kidding, thanks for showing everyone the correct way to rock the Rock Ban mic at our party.

Don R. Lewis – Where you found the energy to see all those films, write all those reviews and still manage to get out in the evenings and have fun, I’ll never know. Great work, again!

Pete Vonder Haar – Thank you for putting in all those hours in the cinema, and for not suffocating me with your pillows when I was snoring (even though we both know you wanted to).

Alongside the coverage provided by the live webcam strapped to my shoulder, I also tried to write at least one blog entry per day I was in Austin for the festival. Those entries are linked below:

Getting ready for Austin…
“Super High Me” and Me…
Day Two, How Do You Do?
Of rants and ravings…
A recap of Sunday night…
Well, Hello Mr. Cranky Pants!

The fun never stopped, and we’ve still got video and text interviews with the following filmmakers. If you follow the link and it’s not up, it will be in a day or two:
