FESTIVAL IN YOUR POCKET?

By Film Threat Staff | March 5, 2003

Beginning this month, the world of mobile phone entertainment takes several large steps towards the ridiculous. The World’s Smallest Film Festival will be hosted in March 2003 at the largest wireless technology/content show in the U.S – Wireless 2003.
The goal of the World’s Smallest Film Festival is to do away with the old paradigm of cramming 90-minute feature films into matchbook-sized screens, presenting instead, made-for-mobile content. The First Annual World’s Smallest Film Festival will accept and display both Features (1-7 minutes) and Ultrashorts (up to 1 minute), which are an entirely new genre of films especially suited to the mobile phone user’s lifestyle.
Did we mention that reading a book is good? It’s true.
