EXIT

By Daniel Bernardi | July 28, 2004

Two criminals break down on a deserted country road and inadvertently begin to analyse their lives. In the isolation there is really little else to do aside from lighting an occasional exhaust sized doobie from their incredibly large stash. One of the duo is introverted with crazy undertones while the other in a loudmouth moron who has almost all of the lines in the film.

If anything this felt like a clip that belonged to a feature film and therefore did not work as a short film. It was shot in beautiful B&W (I’m always a sucker for good B&W imagery) which would have to be one of the best parts to this film. As well as this I can say the direction was good as was the acting but I think everything and everyone were doing the right things for the wrong film. If that makes sense outside of my head?
