EERIE IN OCTOBER

The 3rd Annual Eerie Horror Film Festival will take place at the Erie Playhouse in Erie, Pennsylvania, October 4 – 8, 2006 and this year they’re giving horror fans the works!

In addition to their film and screenplay competition, the EHFF has added an expo and scored several special guests for their event this season including legendary director George A. Romero and a mini-cast reunion from John Carpenter’s “Halloween”! Other guests include actor Tony Todd (“Candyman”), actress Lynn Lowry (“The Crazies”) and young actor Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick (Damien from the new “Omen” movie)!

The five day horror film festival features screenings of selected films that were submitted to the EHFF from all over the world. Awards and prizes will be presented to the winning filmmakers and screenwriters in several different categories. Special presentations of respected genre films are also scheduled throughout the annual competition, with cast members and directors on hand to give attendees a rare opportunity to ask questions about their experiences.

The Carnival of Carnage Expo will be held at the same time as the EHFF at the Avalon Hotel, located directly across the street from the main theater. Here fans will find vendors, a second screening room and several celebrity guests!
