DISTRIBUTE SLUSHO!

By Felix Vasquez Jr. | October 13, 2007

It’s still not completely definite if this entire Slusho site including the terms is just one big distraction; either way, it’s a site that grows weirder and weirder with even more connections to the number six. Six robots, six in the bottom and so on.

Found on Cloverfield News, now the site has been updated with Distribution Opportunities and the inclusion of a Tagruato e-mail at the bottom, and a background featuring the Tagruato corporate logo.

There’s now a number and an e-mail address.

TEL +81-3-5403-6318
E-Mail 18KagashimaD@tagruato.jp

I haven’t called the number yet, but I’m currently boiling it over. I have a thing about long distance if it is long distance. Cheap, be I.

If you called it, by all means fill us in on any recorded messages.

But there are more allusions to sea monsters, more pictures of a crab dangling overhead that fit with the recipe of sea bottom crab, that damn oven mitt worn by one of the six robots, and the message:

“We will send representatives and scientists who will train you on how to operate our machine, and preserve the flavor of our special ingredient, Seabed’s Nectar!!”

and

“We are highly optimistic that the FDA and other such organizations will quickly approve our ingredient for consumption in the West.”

I want to believe this is a sort of “Soylent Green” plot device where this drink has an ingredient that summons the monster that turns out to be parts of its babies, or the eggs or something. It’d be sick if in the climax we learn that we’ve been drinking parts of the monster’s babies, and now it’s out for revenge.

“Why is it here?”
“Oh my god… they’ve been using the parts of the embryos/eggs for the drinks!”

It’s apart of a huge corporation, what could the characters actually do about it other than suffer the rage of the monster? It’d also be an interesting twist considering we’re all prone to eating chickens, and chickens eggs, and in some countries actual chicken embryos. A pro-vegetarian message? Of course, my imagination has stepped in to make more out of this than is needed, guilty as charged. I digress.

In spite of my pre-movie fan fiction above, I’m still dangling on the possibility that Slusho.jp is one big red herring to keep us at bay.

Either way, this gets better and better.

Something about these cartoons creep me out. Am I the only one?
