DIGITAL VISIONS IN CHICAGO

By Film Threat Staff | August 22, 2002

The Digital Visions Film Festival has finally compiled their line-up of films.
“We have an exciting selection of films, all of which that will have first run premiers in Chicago,” says Paul Kanalas, festival director and co-founder. “We received entries from all across the United States, Canada, India, Japan, United Kingdom, China, Australia and France. There were so many great entries, we could have run the festival for an entire week, but with only having two days, we really needed to narrow it down to the top entries. This will give us an opportunity to showcase truly great independent digital films.”
Taking place on September 20th and 21st at the Gateway Theatre in Chicago, the line-up of films is as follows:
“Heather & Lace” – Middletown, CT ^ “Doctor’s Appointment” – San Francisco, CA ^ “Shadow of the Mask” – Providence, RI ^ “Greenboro’s Child” – Mayodan, NC ^ “Catching Fire” – Westfield, NJ ^ “A Dog Story” – Los Angeles, CA ^ Battleship Contempkin – San Francisco, CA ^ “La Puppe'” – New York, NY ^ “Memorial” – Orangeville, CA ^ “Occam’s Razor: The Great Dialogues of Mindy” – Austin, TX ^ “The Evidence” – New York, NY ^ Moving – Virginia Beach, VA ^ Hacks – Seattle, WA ^ “A Small Miracle” – Hong Kong
