Can’t ever make it to Park City, Utah for Slamdance? Well, this festival is for you. DancesWithFilms is like the Slamdance of Los Angeles.
DancesWithFilms has announced its 2003 film line-up of over 90 films – taking place July 25th thru 31st at Laemmle’s Monica 4-Plex.
“Film festivals have lost their meaning of discovery. If a festival is mainly made up of films opening in the next few weeks, how can that be discovery?” says Michael Trent, co-founder. “That’s why we’re proud of our line-up. Almost every film has not been seen in Los Angeles. What other fest can say that?”
