CUPID'S MISTAKE SCREENING

By Film Threat Staff | September 4, 2000

If you’ve got midnights free on the weekend of September 15th and 16th, and you happen to live in the Los Angeles environs, then you can check out the special run of indie feature “Cupid’s Mistake,” which will screen at 12AM at Laemmle’s Sunset 5 Theatres.
Billed as “a refreshing, bittersweet take on dating in Los Angeles,” the film strips away the glossy Hollywood finish and spins a real L.A. yarn — from a one-sided crush on a Japanese-American bodybuilder to an actress’ affections for a struggling director who is trying to document the meaning of love. It’s love run riot.
