CRUISE’S NEXT IMPOSSIBLE MISSION: WORKING WITH PARAMOUNT

After 14 years with Tom Cruise’s production company, Paramount Pictures has decided to show the actor and his company the door.

“As much as we like him personally, we thought it was wrong to renew his deal,” Sumner Redstone, Viacom chairman, was quoted as saying in an interview with the Wall Street Journal “His recent conduct has not been acceptable to Paramount.”

What part of his conduct wasn’t acceptable? Kidnapping Katie Holmes so she can “birth” the “invisible Scientology miracle baby”? Dancing on Oprah’s couch? Going off on anti-depressants and Brooke Shields? At least the 2005 Frigid 50 winner didn’t blame all the wars in the history of the world on the Jews while in a drunken fit in Malibu…
