CINEMA AGAINST AIDS IN PARK CITY

In 1993, the Cinema Against AIDS series began at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, and from there expanded to events at both the Venice Film Festival and Sundance. Bolstered by immense support from within the industry, the Cinema Against AIDS program seeks to increase public awareness of the disease, and to date, they’ve raised over $8 million dollars for the cause.
On [ Monday, January 22nd, 2001 ] , Cinema Against AIDS will host their annual blowout event in Park City, at the [ Kimball Art Center ] downtown. Though the media have fallen all over themselves to crown the event “the toughest ticket with the best intentions” and “as chic as Park City gets,” there’s still plenty of information on hand for the average concerned cinemaphile.
