CATCH “UFO FEVER”

By Film Threat Staff | May 27, 2003

In September, 2002, the Ganes family of Bayonne, New Jersey, set out to win one million dollars by capturing a real UFO on video… they were never heard from again!
Their astonishing home movies, recorded during this historic adventure, were unearthed by filmmaker Lee Sobel, and will be presented for the first time this coming Sunday, June 1st at Arlene’s Grocery in New York City.
“UFO FEVER” is a “reality”-based all improv comedy science fiction feature film and its premiere will be part of a multimedia event, that will begin with a networking party for the New York independent filmmaking community. This is open to anyone who would like to attend, who either is or would like to be a part of this collective. This will be followed by the world premiere of the movie “UFO FEVER” and music video for the band Banana Fish Zero (who appear on the film’s soundtrack); a question-and-answer session with the director and cast discussing the process of making a completely unscripted motion picture feature; and live performances by six bands from the movie’s soundtrack.
