CATCH KARAOKE FEVER!

By Film Threat Staff | September 26, 2000

Independent filmmaker Arthur Borman needs your help. He’s making a documentary about a Karaoke competition and he’s almost finished. He needs people for their title sequence of the movie and he’s looking for interesting people. Below is Arthur’s plea, help him out!
As you know I have been working on a Karaoke documentary. We have decided that the opening credits will be a montage of all kinds of people singing karaoke — good singers and especially bad singers!
I need all kinds of people, all ages, color, shapes, sizes, and races, drag queens, midgets, whatever, to come out and sing karaoke for the opening montage. I am especially interested in unique and unusual looking faces and voices.
Please come by our office at 817 N. La Brea (one block North of Melrose, 2nd floor), on Friday, September 29 between 6:30 and 8:30pm and sing for us.
It will take five minutes of your time. Show up, you’ll get in right away, sing a song, and you’re out!! Short and sweet. Can’t sing? Please come anyway as there’s no such thing as embarrassment here. Everyone will sing, myself included.
If you would like to be part of a classic documentary in the making, please contact me at filmexpo@aol.com to let me know you will attend. Thanks, ^ Arthur Borman
