Does Oscar have feelings? Does any kind of performance pressure come with being the most sought after man in the entertainment industry? Do these little gold guys even want to be given away?We’re only a week away from the Academy Awards, but Edward Bain poses the intense psychological, existential and hysterical question in his online short film “Once Upon An Oscar.”

Taking the stauettes’s point of view, the Shockwave animation tells the story of one little golden man that doesn’t want the attention and the lengths he’ll go to get out of the big show.
