The Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival kicks off on August 22nd with a screening of Britney Baby, One More Time with a party to follow.
In Britney Baby, drag queen Robert Stephens wins a Britney Spears look-a-like contest, which grants him the “honor” to meet Britney herself backstage at one of her shows. But when a TV crew mistakes the drag queen for Britney, the pop diva’s publicists get pissed and remove him from the arena. The film stars American Movie‘s Mark Borchardt and Mike Schank as the duped TV crew members.
The Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival will run from August 22nd – September 2nd.
