“Battle in Seattle” gets a wide release this weekend, and while it offers a very broad understanding of the 1999 WTO protests, its attempt to cover everything leaves it very surface-level. “Breaking the Spell” is a first-hand account of the Seattle riots, particularly from the anarchist’s perspective.
