BOB SAGET: STILL NOT FUNNY

By Film Threat Staff | November 7, 2005

Bob Saget and David Permut have announced they will be doing a spoof of summer doc hit “March of the Penguins” for THINKfilm. The duo’s flick will be oh-so-cleverly titled ” Farce of the Penguins.” Get it?!? FARCEinstead of March?!? It’s a comedy! Get it? Do ya? Do Ya!?! Oh…my gut.

Saget went on to prove how ultimately stupid this whole idea sounds by saying “I was watching the ‘March’ movie at a screening at my friend’s house, and I couldn’t stop doing the voice-overs of the penguins, reminiscent of when I did the voices of the animals on the video show. My friend David Permut said, there’s a great comedy movie in this!!”

First off, why not just pay to see the film in a theater and help support the little penguin epic? Are you sick of being asked where Mary-Kate and Ashley are? Secondly, no one liked your animal voices on “Americas Funniest Home Videos” except you, your friends and my 5 year old cousin. Thirdly…why are you doing this?
