Hot on the heels of “Memoirs of a Geisha” green tea comes more crazy movie promotions, this time it’s bloody stupid. Freshies Food Corporation has teamed up with Sony Tri-Star Pictures to help promote “Underworld” sequel, “Underworld: Evolution.” According to the press release, “While Beckinsale’s vampire feasts on blood, her adoring fans can enjoy a tastier alternative: Bloody Marys.” We couldn’t make this up if we tried. And well, if we did want to make up a movie marketing tie-in for this half-assed attempt at a franchise, we’d have contacted Tampax.
