This coming weekend (beginning Friday, September 8th), you can get your very first glimpse of the buzz factory “Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2” when the trailer is released in theatres nationwide, to coincide with the opening of Artisan’s “Way of the Gun,” the Ryan Phillipe/ Benicio Del Toro crime flick which has its debut that same Friday. In weeks to follow, other Artisan releases will also feature the highly-anticipated and assuredly creepy BW2 trailer.
According to Artisan, “Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2” looks even deeper into the legend of the infamous Blair Witch and the horrific events that took place in Black Hills, Maryland. A tour guide brings a bunch of eager seekers to the site of the infamous events, and of course, trouble boils up as the legend, and the guide’s past, begin to wreak havoc. “Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2” sees theatrical release on October 27th.
