Black and Brown Shorts is a unique film collective that “celebrates and encourages independent cinema” with a monthly showcase of short films by African American and Latino American filmmakers. The next night of film is on [ Sunday, October 22nd ] at [ 6:30 PM ] , but the good people of Black and Brown encourage you to arrive a bit early, as parking is sucky in the Hollywood area. This month’s showcase will be held at:
Smith’s Artistic Company ^ 6448 Santa Monica Blvd. (b/w Wilcox and Cahuenga) ^ Hollywood, CA
Films by Michelle Coons, Aundre Johnson, Arlene Knight, and Rod J. For more on this month’s show, and details on submitting your own film for future consideration, see the [ Black and Brown Shorts website. ]
