Black and Brown Shorts is a unique film collective that “celebrates and encourages independent cinema” with a monthly showcase of short films by African American and Latino American filmmakers. The next night of film is on [ Sunday, October 22nd ] at [ 6:30 PM ] , but the good people of Black and Brown encourage you to arrive a bit early, as parking is sucky in the Hollywood area. Films by Michelle Coons, Aundre Johnson, Arlene Knight, and Rod J. Emelle are scheduled to screen, and a special guest judge, Robert Wheaton from Forest Whitaker’s Spirit Dance company, will also be in attendance.
