AURORA GOES HYPNO FOR HALLOWEEN

By Film Threat Staff | October 7, 2000

The Aurora Picture show is quite the responsible cinematic institution…they were given the honor of “Best Secular Use of a Church Building” by the Houston Press, and they’re well-regarded for their undying support of independent and avant-garde film. But for one night this year, The Aurora Picture Show lets loose and throws a Hypno-Halloween Benefit Party, [ from 8PM until the witching hour, ] full of hypnotic film, sleight-of-hand magic tricks, strobes, tarot card readings, lots of food, and lots of revelry. Oh yes, and libations. Sinful? Maybe.
The Picture Show will also host a costume competition, and the winner will be richly rewarded with a “magical prize”. For all ticket information, and more on this wicked night of fun, go to [ the official Aurora Picture Show website. ]
