Darren Aronofsky has signed a first-look deal with Universal Pictures that will also allow him to produce films for sister companies Focus Features and Rogue Pictures. Although there’s been no official project announced, Aronofsky has a bunch in development including “Flicker,” an adaptation of the Theodore Rozak horror suspense novel about a Catholic sect’s plan to use Hollywood as a tool to start the apocalypse.
