ANYTHING STAR WARS

By Rory L. Aronsky | July 20, 2003

Don’t be surprised if you find yourself humming or singing parts of “Anything Star Wars” after seeing this music video. It is a bit addictive after watching it, but during this, forget it. The song becomes one huge annoyance and at certain points, it’s not completely clear with what’s being said. Despite its after-effect being addictive enough to hum; there’s also a good chance that you might end up forgetting it altogether and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
The basic plot is a guy just having his own Star Wars-like adventures with his daughter and it’s funny watching him drop his light saber and run away from an AT-ST Scout Walker.
The humor elsewhere in this short is good, with the best parts taking place with the guy accidentally sticking himself right in the middle with his light saber. It seems to work as a lead-in to an even funnier bit involving that same light saber, but stuck by the guy in a different manner. That’s about all there is to find here. If only the music wasn’t so damn annoying, this might have been better.
