His movie was financed with unemployment checks. And, like before, he’s still angry. Now, though, he’ll be taking his anger, his work, and his animosity toward Hollywood, on the road. AngryFilmmaker Kelley Baker will be traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest this spring screening “Birddog” and several of his short films.
After a brief and successful showing in Berkeley, Baker will be heading north along the coast into Oregon, Washington and even Canada. The tour will be comprised of art house showings and university and college theater screenings with a few private, celebrity screenings in-between. In addition, Baker will also be setting aside his violent ways for a few continuous hours to teach seminars to university students.
Baker’s films have played all around the globe at film festivals like Sundance, Chicago, Edinburgh, Sienna and London. And now they may be playing near you.
