AGLIFF NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

The Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival is set to roll on August 22 – September 2 and they need some help. They’re asking for past volunteers and first timers to come down and handle crowd control, ticketing, membership, technical support, special events and other fun stuff. For the first timers, there will be training on the volunteers needs at the orientations, which will be held at the aGLIFF offices 1216 E 51st St, 302-9889. Volunteers need only attend one orientation.
Volunteer Orientations for this year’s festival are on: ^ Sunday, August 4th 11AM to 1PM and again from 2PM to 4PM ^ Wednesday, August 7th 7PM to 9PM ^ Thursday, August 8th 7PM to 9PM ^ Saturday, August 10th 11AM to 1PM and again from 2PM to 4PM
Volunteers will receive a free kino t-shirt for attending the training and signing up for a shift at the volunteer orientations. For each and every shift you work you will receive a free movie pass. After you have completed three volunteer shifts you will be eligible to receive a nifty kino mug. And last but not least after you have completed five volunteer shifts you will be eligible to receive a free Fan 1 aGLIFF membership!!!!
