ABBA STAGE PLAY “MAMMA MIA” TO HIT BIG SCREEN

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have signed on to bring the stage play “Mamma Mia” to the big screen. Hank’s company “Playtone” is looking to lure stage director Phyllida Lloyd into the directors chair as she directed the London version of the play and the play’s writer Catherine Johnson has been hired to ink the flick.

Update…Meryl Streep has just signed on to star in the film as well
