48-HOURS AT THE ARCLIGHT

By Film Threat Staff | February 18, 2004

Constantly growing in popularity, the 48-Hour Film Festival will take place at the Arclight in Hollywood on February 26th.
“We started a few years ago with a group of five or six people in a borrowed screening room,” says Mark Kochinski, one of three Managing Directors of the festival, along with John Parenteau and Keith Matz. “We’ve now moved into the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, and we’re already worried it isn’t big enough!”
The festival may be getting bigger with each event, but the rules remain the same: Make a film, any film, in 48 hours.
