BATH

By Eric Campos | August 26, 2002

This is kinda like a four minute commercial for soap as we’re treated to nothing but close-up shots of a woman rub-a-dub-dubbing in the tub. For all of you perverts out there, don’t get too excited. Despite there being a naked woman on camera at all times, this isn’t a very sexy film and I’m sure it’s not supposed to be. The camera simply grabs its images rather than caresses them and there’s quite a few shots of knees and elbows and toes, too. I believe this is what’s supposed to be art. Not that art can’t be sexy, but I think this is some of that highbrow stuff where sexiness would be considered primitive.
However, for you peeping toms and cleanly fetish freaks, I guess you gotta get your kicks wherever you can, so here you go.
SCREENING AS PART OF THE WOMEN OF MICROCINEMA IN SAN FRANCISCO, AUGUST 27TH AND HOUSTON, AUGUST 30TH!
