“The Best of Aurora Picture Show, Volume One” is coming to your town! This touring program is a micro-sampling of the nearly 600 short films and videos presented by Aurora Picture Show, a non-profit microcinema housed in a former church building in Houston, Texas. To be included in the show, each work had to run under ten minutes in order to include as many artists as possible, represent an innovative approach to media making, and be made by individuals, rather than studios. The program is accompanied by a 16 page catalog, with color images and bios on each of the artists.
