“QUATTRO NOZA” RISING

By Film Threat Staff | August 22, 2002

You may not have heard of him, but Joey Curtis’ new film “Quattro Noza” is garnering quite a bit of attention with 250,000 hits to the film’s official website due to grass roots marketing and public relations.
As a teenager in the late 80s/early 90s, director Joey Curtis raced down the same race track in L.A. as his father once did back in the 60s. After attending film school in Colorado (student of Phil Soloman), Curtis returned to Los Angeles with a mission to tell the story of “Quattro Noza.” For two years, he documented the youth culture of 21st century illegal street car racing. The story of “Quattro Noza” features love, betrayal and rivalry woven from Curtis¹ own experiences, those of his father and those of the current generation of street racers.
“Quattro Noza” is currently seeking a distributor.
