For the independent filmmaker, there is a must-see panel on the challenging topic of distribution at 2:30 pm.

How Are You Get the New Out There
Credo 23 Council founder, filmmaker, and author Justine Bateman moderates the discussion with indie film finance/distribution legend Cassian Elwes and distribution/film finance veteran and founder of Highland Film Group, Arianne Fraser. What was film distribution before, what is it now, and where can it go now instead?

The festival will end with a special presentation of C23FF FILMMAKER GRANTS (With The Teamsters as the Closing Night Sponsor). The CREDO 23 Film Festival supports new filmmaking and provides new ways for filmmakers to continue their work financially. And so, the CREDO 23 Foundation is proud to grant the accepted filmmakers all the festival proceeds, after costs. CREDO 23 knows that with new filmmaking comes new ways to support and distribute this fresh work. They hope that granting festival proceeds to filmmakers can become a new standard for film festivals from here out.
