January 31st will be Adam Rifkin day at the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown Brooklyn theater for their Weird Wednesday event.
The filmmaker will be in-person for a Q&A following the 6:45PM screening of his film DETROIT ROCK CITY, as well as Q&A for the 9:30PM screening of THE DARK BACKWARD, starring Judd Nelson and Bill Paxton as garbage men who want to break into show business.
“Existing in a universe covered in filth and neon glow, THE DARK BACKWARD is an unclassifiable gem of oddness …”
Rifkin also recently directed festival favorite GIUSEPPE MAKES A MOVIE and Burt Reynolds starring in DOG YEARS.
If you’re near New York City come see cult classic The Dark Backward, the strangest movie you will ever love, and meet director Adam Rifkin!
