A24 and DirecTV present Backstabbing for Beginners, starring Theo James, Belçim Bilgin, Jacqueline Bisset, and Ben Kingsley. Directed by Per Fly. Based on the book by Michael Soussan.

An idealistic young employee (Theo James) working at the UN investigates the grisly murder of his predecessor and uncovers a global conspiracy that starts with his own boss (Ben Kingsley). This timely thriller is based on the true story of corruption in the 1995 UN Oil-for-Food Programme (OIP), established to allow Iraq to sell oil on the world market in exchange for food, medicine, and other humanitarian needs.

Released on DIRECTV March 22nd and in theaters and VOD April 27th.
