The film tells the story of two men, James Safechuck and Wade Robson, who claim that they were sexually abused as children by the singer Michael Jackson.
The film caused a huge stir and divided public opinion into two camps. There are those who are convinced of the celebrity’s innocence and regard these allegations as attempts at smear campaigns. But there are also those who were shocked by this news and have become bitterly disappointed in the artist they once loved.
It is important to note that following the release of this film, several counter-films have also emerged. One of them features interviews containing testimonies in defence of the singer, including from members of the Jackson family. The aim of this work was to prove that the film ‘Leaving Neverland’ contains many lies and inconsistencies with the testimonies of the singer’s other contemporaries.
