A whimsical tale of magic, Misdirection has everything from card tricks to secret societies of warring magicians. At under 20 minutes, this short film definitely feels more like the potential setup for a longer, more intense feature film, and it manages to entice while leaving you wanting much more. Hell, forget feature film, make this one a TV series reminiscent of the old Friday the 13th show about the search for cursed relics; I’d watch it.
